Cookridge Primary School’s vision for PSHE

As a school, we welcome families from diverse faiths and cultures, and work with them and the local community to provide the very best for any child. In partnership with parents, we aim to educate children who are resilient, respectful, and able to love and care for others and see learning as an exciting, challenging and integral part of life. We want our children to aim high with a tradition of pride in what they and others do, creating a school community that is happy, caring and one that moulds our future society into one to be proud of.

Accessing Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education outside of school is key to integrating into an ever changing and diverse world.

News of Work Experience

DWF is a multinational law firm based at Bridgewater Place (in Leeds city centre) with 27 offices across the world. We are incredibly lucky to have built links with DWF and the Year 6 pupils had an incredible time on our recent visits. A huge thank you to all the staff at DWF for all their support, hard-work and time.

5 Star Programme

This three modular programme is aimed to bring the workplace to life, the children being inside an office environment demystifies the glass buildings they see and shows the real life people within, hopefully encouraging the students to think about work in a positive way at an early age.

The educational based modular programme features three workshops:

  1. World of Work
  2. Language and Communication
  3. Jaffa Cake Challenge
