EYFS – Tropical World Trip

As part of our new topic of Amazing Animals we are taking Reception on a trip to Tropical World on Tuesday 3rd February, Wednesday 4th February, Thursday 5th February. Your child will attend the trip on ONE of these days only, with 14 or 15 children going on each date.

To enrich this topic, we are going to take the children on a visit to see a wide range of animals. The children will visit in small groups with Mr Verdi to see a variety of animals and learn a bit about their characteristics and their habitats. This links with the Early Years Framework objectives of Understanding the World, in particular with recognising and understanding contrasting environments in the natural world.

We shall be travelling by the school minibus in the afternoon session and all children shall still eat lunch at school as usual.
