Sports Day – Reception and Key Stage 1 (Classes Rec. A & B, 1, 2 and 3)

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Due to the weather forecast we have made some alterations to the running order of Sports Day for both KS1 and KS2. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. It means means there will be a reduced amount of time that the children will be exposed to the sun. Please see attached the new running times:

Reception and Key Stage 1 Sports Day – Tuesday 23rd July – Please see link above as to the changes of timings.

Children will be placed into their four house point teams. It would be great if your child could wear a coloured top that represents their team; red, blue, yellow or green. If not, their normal PE t-shirt is fine.

Children will be participating in various races, such as; sprint, hurdles, egg & spoon, space hopper and the bean bag on the head race. 

We will try to include some parent races so please bring your trainers along!

You are welcome to bring grandparents and other family members to the sports day.

Please send your child with a sun hat and/or sun cream if it is particularly hot weather that day.

If we have to cancel due to poor weather a text will be sent out as soon as possible. Kind regards
