Nurture Group – Forest School

Today, the pupils in Class 5 enjoyed a session outdoors in the Forest School area. Mr Gamble read their class book ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper. The children listened really well and, after finishing the story, were tasked with completing a pumpkin hunt around the garden area where they had to find carved pumpkins and the duck who had escaped from the story. After finding these, pupils made pumpkin soup at the mud kitchen and enjoyed rolling the pumpkins up and down the hill.
