Nurture Group – Forest School

Pupils from our nurture class enjoyed a lovely morning outside doing Forest School. To begin, children explored the different areas and had fun playing on the treehouse and ninja slackline before digging in the sandpit. We then took a trip to see the guinea pigs and rabbits and feed them breakfast. Linking to our work in the classroom, we then listened to Mr Gamble who read ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ around the fire pit. Inspired by this and some real tigers who came to visit us, we then created a meal for our tiger as they were extremely hungry. We served our tigers spaghetti, salad and cauliflower soup to warm them up.  Some pupils even took t heir tiger into the sandpit to make them a house – well done everyone.
