SEND Parent consultations

Dear Parents/Carers, 

If your child is currently on our school SEND register then you are invited to book a SEND consultation meeting with Mrs Kerr and Mr Maldonado as an extra parent consultation appointment. 

As part of our SEND offer, we offer termly meetings as an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, SEND needs and any updates or questions you may have. It is also a good opportunity to have a chat and discuss how your child has settled into the new academic year.

It is not compulsory to arrange a SEND meeting, and you may feel that the class teacher can answer your questions, but should you want a meeting specifically with the SENDCo then this provides you with an opportunity to do so. If you are unsure whether or not your child is on the schools SEND register then please ask your child’s class teacher who can clarify this for you. 

In order to book an appointment please follow the previous post about booking a parent consultation and click ‘Class 5 Nurture’, this will link directly with Mrs Kerr and Mr Maldonado for bookings, even if your child is not currently in class 5. 

There are a few appointments available during the school day, if this is more convenient, please call the school office on 01132862500 to make an earlier appointment should you wish to. 

As you may be aware, Mrs Kerr is due for Maternity leave after Parent consultation week, so if you do need to speak to her about something in particular, this is a good time to do so.
