Well done to ALL the children at Cookridge Primary School for their participation on sports day. It was brilliant to see the enthusiasm, positivity, resilience and sportsmanship from each and every single one of you. Thank you as well to the brilliant support from the friends and family. The support from the sidelines, particularly during the rain, was fantastic and the children enjoyed sharing an eventful day with you all.
The BBQ and refreshments raised an incredible £638.75, which will be used to support the PE curriculum and resources for the children.
The scores from the day have been tallied and we are pleased to announce that the winning team was GREEN. However, you are all winners to us!
