Yesterday, the children completed our topic “Let’s go shopping!” by taking part in a role-play. They acted out going to the shops, including vocabulary from this half-term (like: shop names, greetings, ‘I would like…’ and ‘some’). They included our phonic sound for the lesson, which was the /k/ sound which can be written ‘qu’ or ‘q’ by using words like ‘cinq’ and ‘quartre’.
