Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School

What a great time we had this morning during our Wellbeing Wednesday sessions. Pupils from KS2 took to ‘Spring Cleaning’ like ducks to water with children working together to complete numerous jobs in the Forest School area including litter picking, composting cut grass, clearing the path to the animals of weeds and tidying up a disused corner to create a new flower bed with bee friendly plants such as daisies and lupins. Pupils from KS1 enjoyed seeing the animals and learning about the importance of exercise on wellbeing. To do this, they explored the slackline – trying new feats of acrobatics – and tested themselves on the tree house by climbing, balancing and jumping.
