Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School

In the first session today we completed some composting jobs before turning our attention to some social interaction and celebrating a job well done by making our own hot chocolate at the fire pit. However, as we were enjoying our delicious cup of success, we had some unexpected visitors! Two of the rabbits cam to see us after burrowing out of their enclosure! We then became rabbit shepherds as we herded them back in and found their hole. In the second group, the children helped Mr Gamble with some maintenance by blocking up the hole with stones and checking for any further tunnels before feeding the guinea pigs and rabbits their lunch.
