EYFS – Den Building Challenge – Forest School
On a cold, wet morning, we began the session by playing tree tig in order to keep ourselves warm. Children had to listen to and follow the instructions of the game and stay within a set boundary whilst following the rules of the game in order to have lots of fun. Next, children were tasked to develop their den building skills from last week. Pupils had to organise themselves into teams, give their team a name and create a den which would keep them dry and warm given the current weather. Teams had to problem solve, organise themselves and work together in order to achieve the task. A special mention must go to Team Alligator who, as well as having a great team name, were the ones who won the den building challenge due to their effort, teamwork and good communication – well done!
