EYFS – Forest School
It was a very wet, muddy and windy morning for our Forest School today but we still managed to have lots of fun and enjoy ourselves despite the conditions. Pupils loved exploring the large puddles which have appeared on the field and they used sticks to create sharks and other animals they would find in water. They had great fun wading into the puddle to then discover a crocodile near them before running out as fast as they could! Inside the canopy, pupils learnt a little more about staying safe around an open fire and how to keep it alive. Children took it in turns to use a fire gloves and feed the fire a piece of kindling. To do this, children had to be brave and confident, follow specific instructions and put their trust in what Mr Gamble had told and shown them. Well done every in Reception today in tricky conditions!
