EYFS – Forest School – 17.3.26

This morning, children have enjoyed a wonderful session outside in the sun all themed around monsters! We began by reading ‘We’re Going to Find the Monster’ by Malorie Blackman and discussed how the characters in the book had used their imaginations to help them play. Next, the children were tasked to complete numerous monster themed activities throughout our Forest School area using their own imaginations. Pupils had great fun in the sandpit where they created sand monsters, monster traps and homes for monsters and created meals for monsters in our mud kitchen. Pupils also played monster games, made homes for monsters using our den building sticks and created some terrifying beasts using clay and loose parts! What a lovely way to spend a morning in the sun!
