Year 6 Only
As you may be aware, each year our Year 6 children take part in Bikeability. This is cycle proficiency training with the aim to ensure pupils develop their skills to ride safely on roads. The training takes place over the course of one week with sessions on the playgrounds and the surrounding roads. Today, we will be sending out a Bikeability form with all Year 6s that must be completed before Sunday 17th May 2026.
If your child doesn’t have a bike or a helmet, or cannot yet ride a bike, please state this on the digital form. This will not prevent any of your children taking part as equipment can be provided and ‘Learn to Ride’ sessions can be given to those who are still learning.
Children are encouraged to bring their own bike and/or helmet where possible; however, please ensure this meets the safety guidance on the letter attached.
