KS1- C3- English – 03.06.26

This week in KS1 we read our new story ‘Beegu’ and put our artistic stills to the test by creating the main character out of plasticine. We considered how she was described in the book and added various props around them which linked to elements of the story. Within writing, we also worked in small groups to match sentences to images from the story. We then built upon the sentences by including a conjunction such as ‘but’ ‘when’ or ‘because’ to develop the simple sentence into a compound sentence and add further information.
