Today in Maths, we took our learning outside and used whiteboards and place value charts to recognise and compare numbers to 3 decimal places. We worked in pairs to compare two different decimal numbers, carefully considering the value of each digit. We then worked in larger groups to order a range of decimal numbers to 3 decimal places, focusing on identifying the correct place value to help us decide which numbers were greater or smaller. It was a great opportunity to apply our understanding of place value collaboratively and explain our mathematical thinking to others!
