LKS2 – Class 5 – French day!

LKS2 have enjoyed a morning full of French activities today! We started by learning the names of different body parts in French, and using this knowledge to play ‘Jacques a dit’ (Simon says). Then, we learned all about the Eiffel Tower, including when and why it was built and why it is such an important French landmark. After looking at various pictures and videos, we created our own Eiffel Tower picture. We used tissue paper to create a themed background for our structure. Then we thought carefully about the shape and structure of the tower itself and used straws to create our own!
