What a fun week we’ve had in all this beautiful weather!

Everybody has enjoyed our Maths sessions this week – we have been learning how to recognise and make repeated patterns. This has been done in lots of interesting ways: with blocks, paint, musical instruments and even our own bodies!

As Reception class have now covered all of the ‘phase 3’ phonemes we have spent the week revisiting some sounds learned this half term and applying them into our reading and writing. There has been some amazing writing produced and the children are becoming more confident every week.

The children all loved Tuesday’s sessions of Art, Music and P.E. too, with lots of excitement at getting to use the school’s new art studio (nextdoor to our own class).

All the children have enjoyed making cards to celebrate Mother’s Day this week, so hopefully Sunday will be a calm, peaceful and relaxing time for you all.

Next week is the last week of school before the two week Easter break, so we’ll be getting festive with Easter egg hunts and Easter crafts.

Have a lovely weekend!
