End of day procedure

In order to help support you and keep the children safe, we politely ask that you  revisit the end of day timings to help stop congestion of parents/carers waiting around the school gates and reduce the chance of transmission of Covid-19.

At the end of day we are starting to see a build up of parents/carers who are waiting  for the wrong groups, causing congestion outside the main gates and breaching of social distancing and the bubbles (Thank you to the vast majority who only approach the gates when it is their time).

So, we politely ask that if you turn up early for the end of the day please DO NOT wait directly outside the gates but remain in your cars or at a distance from the school that does not interfere with another group waiting to pick up their children and only approach the school gates when it is your turn to pick up your children. 

In addition to the end of day procedures, we are aware, and have witnessed, children who are being dropped off from vehicles parked on double yellow lines right outside the school gates. As you all know causing an obstruction on public highways is against the law. The school has witnessed at least four near misses that could of resulted in serious injury or death of the children and families in question. It is your parental responsibility to make sure that your child/ren are passed to us in a safe manner where upon we can carry out our duty of care of keeping your children safe.
