EYFS – Animals – Forest School

In their Forest School sessions today pupils in Reception listened to the story of the Three Little Pigs. Afterwards, they discussed the houses the pigs had made and what they had done well and what they didn’t! Children then organised themselves into teams, were given a toy pig and challenged to build a better house than those we had just read about in the book using natural resources. Once complete, the Big Bad Wolf came to visit and tried to blow the houses down with not much success – well done on some fantastic structures Reception! To finish, we played some games of What Time is it Mr Wolf, with the pupils being pigs trying to sneak up on the wolf to steal back some their belongings! What a fantastic morning we’ve had.
