EYFS – Forest School

This morning, pupils in Reception had a lovely time in our Forest School area. Children explored the sandpit, mud kitchen and tree area where pupils could play, build dens using tarps, climb trees and have a go on our rope swings. Children also played on the field where all they needed was Mrs Colefax and tyres to invent their own games and provide endless fun and exercise! Inside the outdoor canopy, some children helped Mr Gamble build a fire by collecting sticks and, when it was hot enough, every child roasted a marshmallow to have during story time.
