EYFS – Forest School

Today in our Forest School session, pupils spent the time learning about our outdoor provision. They visited the goats where they learnt a little more about them before having the opportunity to feed them. Children then visited the kitchen garden and explored the different smells and tastes of the herb plants we grow before visiting the chickens and having a look for eggs in the nest box. Next, pupils went off to explore our Forest School area in the trees. Here, they played games and used the mud kitchen where they learnt how to tidy up after themselves and leave the natural environment as we found it. A great first session of Forest School EYFS – well done!
