EYFS – Hirameki art – Art – 14.10.26
In art this week, EYFS children continued to explore the colourful and expressive artwork of Keith Haring, looking closely at his bold lines, playful shapes and energetic marks. The children looked at one series of his work which is reminiscent of Japanese Hirakemi art. The children experimented with different colours, lines and marks to create their own colourful pictures, challenging their creativity and artistic thinking. They made independent choices about the colours they used, added details to develop their ideas, and talked about the shapes and marks they had created. We loved seeing their creativity, imagination and unique artistic ideas shine through their wonderful artwork!
