EYFS – Newsletter – 18/6/21

Welcome to this week’s Reception newsletter!

The children have had a roarsome week learning about dinosaurs. The children have worked really hard to subtract and write sentences. We’ve seen some fabulous work and the children are taking great pride in their own achievements, which is lovely to see.

As opposed to the dinosaurs, living things have been a key focus this week. The children built an outdoor run for Tortellini to get out in the sunshine. They had to reinforce the walls when he tried to escape but the children realised just how fast a tortoise can move and adapted the surroundings to suit! The pond has also seen some developments as the tadpoles have grown and the majority have now developed legs!

Next week will be forest schools on Wednesday.

Have a great weekend!
