EYFS – Newsletter – 22/01/2021

We made it! Our first week of school in 2021 without a snow day! 

A big thank you to everyone for sharing their work this week and joining in with the zoom calls. You have all been working really hard and making the teachers very proud!

First some exciting news!

In Phonics we have been looking at sounds ‘k’ and ‘ck’ and done lots of practise reading and writing words with these graphemes.

In Maths we have been learning how to estimate and done a super job of carefully counting objects, actions, foot steps and cups of water!

We have some exciting news about online reading! School have purchased access to the website online raintree, which offers online reading books for your child at their reading level.

Once logged in you will need to select the book band level ‘Pink’ and then can pick any of the books on the shelf to read!
