KS1 – Loose Parts Play – Forest School – 22/9/26

Today in Forest School, pupils in Classes 1,2 and 3 have enjoyed the wonderful sunshine and learning more about loose parts. They were first challenged to collect a range of different loose parts ranging in size, colour and shape. Once completed, children organised themselves into groups and were tasked with creating a home for an animal, using only natural materials and loose parts! The groups used their creativity and imaginations to play and created a variety of wonderful homes with doors, windows, rooms, beds and food stores. Some even included exercise rooms – to help the animal stay healthy- and secret exits so they could escape predators. Well done KS1!
