This week in science we have been using our observational skills to see if we can suggest answers to questions.
We looked at the feel and texture of four different surfaces: sand, grass, carpet and tarmac and tried to describe them. The children came up with words such as “rough”, “spikey”, “bumpy”, “smooth”, “flat” and many more!
Using this information we predicted on which of those surfaces one of our toy cars would travel the furthest.
