KS1 – Class 2 – World Book Day

Today Class 2 have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day.

We started the day in assembly listening to stories from Maria, the author and choosing our Bingo winners who got to go to Waterstones. 

Then, Key Stage One had a fashion show and played some story themed games. Next, we wrote some sentences about our chosen character and the story they are in before listening to ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ and doing some jungle themed activities. 

At the end of the day we had a mystery reader come to our classroom to read us a story. I wonder if the children can remember who made a special visit to read us a story? (A clue: it was someone’s Daddy!).

We loved listening to and celebrating stories all day!
