KS1 – Forest School – 23.6.26

Unbelievably, this was KS1’s last Forest School session of the year with Mr Gamble and, after finishing our series of lessons on surviving in the wild, pupils had the opportunity to explore and play in our Forest School area. Children could use the hammocks and make dens to relax in and escape the heat, whilst the mud kitchen and tough tray offered some shady activities and water-based play to keep children cool. Pupils could also play in the sandpit and dig pit, use the swings and take part in some outdoor yoga. All the activities either challenged the pupils’ creativity, teamwork, communication, resilience and problem-solving skills whilst pupils showed respect for the equipment and the natural area by tidying everything away really well. A great way to end the year’s Forest School sessions with Mr Gamble in the sun!
