KS1 Newsletter- 17.5.19

KS1 have had  a wonderful week enjoying the sunshine.    It has been lovely to take our learning outside and explore new adventures.     All the classes in KS1 have enjoyed reading ‘The Enchanted Wood.’   They have explored the wood and the field finding their own enchanted tree and discussed new lands they would like to visit.   We have also worked hard on our phonics and even used water guns to ‘zap’ the phonemes!

In Maths they have worked on reasoning problems and challenges linked to the four operations.

The Year Two children have been working on their skipping skills in PE ready for the up coming competition, we were very impressed with their skipping skills.

A friendly reminder for all children to bring a named hat and sun cream.

We apologise for cancelling the KS1 Garden party-this is due to garden maintenance and health and safety reasons.   We will be in touch soon about a new parent event next term.

Diary dates-
