KS1 Newsletter- 28/6/19

KS1 have worked hard this week on a range of activities including preparing crafts for our amazing upcoming summer fair, the items will be available to reserve before the day.    In English the children have enjoyed working on Summertime stories and taken their characters on adventures around school as a stimulus for their writing.  We have also started the heats for our famous poetry slam which is happening at the school fair.   In Maths they have worked on data handling- they have collected  data and presented it in a variety of ways including pictograms, tallies, bar charts and graphs.   As the weather is hotting up, please remember to bring a sun hat, water and sun cream all with a name on please.   We are looking forward to our trip to Bridlington which is on Monday 8th July.   Have a great weekend from KS1
