KS1 Quiz Time – All about the teachers

Good morning everyone and welcome to KS1 quiz time!

Keep an eye out for the short quizzes that will be appearing… The theme today is “All about the teachers”. 

Truth or lie?

Below are some statements about the wonderful teachers in KS1.

One statement is true and the other is a lie! Can you find the truths?

The amazing Mrs Koopman

a) Mrs Koopman was on TV! The amazing Mrs Koopman once appeared in an episode of Emmerdale. 

b) Mrs Koopman is a secret Morris dancer. During the Morris dancing season, Mrs Koopman is the leader of the Cookridge Kickers Morris dancing team and travels around the country taking part in competitions and festivals. 

The delightful Mrs Hoyle

a) Mrs Hoyle owns 4 cats and has handmade outfits for them all to dress up in on special occasions.

b) Mrs Hoyle has lived in 4 different countries by the time she was in Year 5. 

The wonderful Mrs Hallatt

a) Mrs Hallatt went to school in New York, USA!

b) Mrs Hallatt’s favourite food is brussel sprouts.

The super Miss Smith

a) Miss Smith has represented Great Britain at gymnastics and is willing to show you any gymnastic movement if you ask her nicely.

b) Miss Smith has represented Great Britain at the International Table Tennis tournament.

The awesome Mrs Harrison

a) Mrs Harrison has a grade 1 in fencing… not the garden repair service but the sport where you use swords.

b) Mrs Harrison has applied to be on The Great British Bake off 2021…. fingers crossed everyone!

The joyful Mrs Williams

a) In secondary school, Mrs Williams was in a heavy metal rock band called “The Trouble Makers”.

b) Mrs Williams loves hill walking and has climbed the highest mountain in Great Britain. 

The naughty Miss Devine

a) Miss Devine has given an elephant a bath.

b) Miss Devine auditioned to be on this years Britain’s Got Talent. She performed “Gangnam style”, dressed as a giant carrot, to the judges as this is her favourite song. Make sure you watch this years show to see if she made it. 

The marvelous Mr Morgan

a) Mr Morgan used to do ballet as part of his rugby training. He still has his pink tutu. 

b) Mr Morgan used to play the violin and once played twinkle twinkle little star over and over again for 35 minutes in a concert because this was the only song he knew.
