KS1 Science Living things

KS1 started their journey into learning all about living and non living things. We looked at an image of an urban garden and answered and discussed a range of questions about it to get more familiar. We then talked about what things were alive, not alive and what things had been alive in the garden. We thought back to our Forest School day and reminded ourselves of MRS NERG to help us classify and sort them. We will be using the same picture to explore even more about living things including different habitats in the image and the variety of food chains the children can identify.
