KS1 – Whittling – Forest School

KS1 have enjoyed lovely Forest School sessions today come rain or shine! In preparation for our session next week, pupils were taught how to whittle safely using two different tools. After selecting a suitable stick, pupils managed their own risk and safety by using the equipment sensibly to create a whittled piece of wood which will form the basis of the session next week. There was so much resilience, determination and problem solving on show! Well done KS1.
