Year 2 have really enjoyed getting stuck into their new phonics sounds these past few weeks. We have looked at ‘wr’ saying ‘r’ and adding ‘le saying l’. We have played games and completed challenges to help us read and write lots of words containing these sounds.
Alongside this, Year 2 have been focusing on vocabulary and understanding word meanings. Not only have we been matching words to their definitions, we have also been exploring what synonyms are!
