LKS2 – Class 5 & 7 – Maths

Today in Maths, we started our new topic, ‘Measurement’. To start off, we discussed what we already knew about measurement and recapped on key terminology like length, centimetres, kilograms and mass. Then we discussed what perimeter is and how to find the perimeter of a rectilinear shape. Finally, we explored this using multilink cubes and had to create as many shapes as possible that had a perimeter of 14cm.
