LKS2 – Class 5 and 7 – English

In LKS2 English we began our Balanced Argument topic. First we sorted arguments about working in a mill and provided justification for why these arguments are for/against and the greater impact they would have on people and communities at the time. We then used our oracy skills to apply these arguments to our own debate to discuss the question:

‘Did Armley Mills have a positive impact on people’s lives?’
