LKS2 – Class 5 – Art challenge

Yesterday, children in Class 5 spent the afternoon getting creative to complete our class art challenge, set by Mrs Ledda. We have been set the task of designing and making an outfit for a mannequin, in the theme of ‘Springtime Recycling’. As a class, we discussed which materials would be best to use, and how we could best attach them together to make an outfit. We split into different teams – some making the T Shirt out of crisp bags, some making a skirt out of plastic bags, and others creating decorations using things like bottle tops and cardboard! It was a fun afternoon of D and T and the children really got a chance to show off their creative sides!
