Today in Geography, we were looking at the parts of a mountain. First, we drew what we thought a mountain was and labelled it. Then we learned about the heights of mountains and had a look at different names for the parts of a mountain like summit, tree line, plateau and base. After we learned the different parts of a mountain, we went outside and used natural materials to build a mountain. We included different features like summit, ridge and snow line. Some of us also made multiple mountains so we had a mountain range!
