LKS2 – Newsletter – 14/6/19
What a busy week we have had in LKS2!
In English this week, we have used all our plans from last week to write another chapter for the book ‘Across the Roman Wall’. We have worked hard to include all of our recent grammar goals; expanded noun phrases, inverted commas, subordinating and coordinating conjunctions and fronted adverbials!
In Maths we have all continued our work on time. Skills converting between analogue and digital times, 12 and 24 hour times and working out duration’s have all needed to solve the challenges set this week!
On Thursday, LKS2 walked down to Tinshill Free Church for a Bible Exhibition where we developed our understanding of the bible, its key stories, messages and the importance of this in the Christian faith.
In Science each class in LKS2 held their “Great Class Science Share” to pick which experiment from each class would do forward to the whole school “Great Science Share” next week. We had some absolutely fantastic entries and we were so proud at the amount of effort that went in to the presentations and the experiments.
