LKS2 – Newsletter – 21.06.19
What a tremendous week we have had in Lower Key Stage Two!
To conclude our work on length, capacity and mass, pupils in LKS2 completed a variety of activities including javelin throwing, making a witches brew and forest school measuring focussing on reading scales and converting measurements.
In English, we have been recapping our grammar skills such as identifying and applying pronouns, determiners and apostrophes accurately.
The Great Science Share was a huge success, with our phase being represented by static electricity, lava lamp and air cannon experiments.
Tuesday was a jam packed day for year 3/4.
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Breary Marsh, strengthening their connection to nature through forest schools, science investigations and mindfulness activities. While Year 3 researched the impact that the Roman Empire had on our lives today. We then created our own presentations, discussing the various aspects of Roman life that enhance our everyday life.
Dates for the diary.
