LKS2 – Newsletter – 28/06/19

A busy and  focused week in LKS2 this week. The children completed their end of term assessments and all of them made us so proud. The teachers were beaming with some of the results and they are a credit to how hard everyone has worked this year! Amazing!

We held our annual “Poetry Slam” competition in our classes and then ran a Key Stage competition to see who will be representing LKS2 at the Summer Fair. The entries were fabulous and the three who won were worthy victors. We hope you all support them during their performance.

In PE, the Year 3 students had a go at the different sports day events and all expressed how excited they are about the big day.

As the penultimate celebration of our Roman topic we created a Roman Banquet. All the children designed and made the menu and it was a real success. A dressed salad started the banquet and was followed by a beef stew. The children made delicious “Apple Roses” for dessert. An amazing afternoon. See our previous post for more pictures of the day.

Dates to remember…

Mr Morgan’s 24 hour cycle starts at 1pm on Friday 5th July.

Thank you for all of your hard work!
