LKS2 – Tools and Crafts – Forest School
LKS2 spent their Forest School sessions today building on their knowledge from last time. After revising how to stay safe and use tools such as bill hooks, bow saws, whittling knives and loppers, children were tasked with making a craft. Children had to select the correct tool for the job, depending on what they wanted to make, use it effectively whilst maintaining their, and everyone else’s safety. We had some fantastic creations using string, ribbon and twine including bracelets, necklaces and headpieces where palm drills were used to create holes to loop through. There were also some dreamcatchers, medals and coins crafted. Well done LKS2.
