National Child Measurement Programme

Hello. 

The community nurses will be attending school on the 11th December . This is for Reception and Year 6 only.

All children in a Leeds reception and year 6 class get an important health check whilst in school. This  is called the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and vision screening.
The NCMP involves measuring your child’s height and weight to calculate their BMI, and (for reception children only)to carry out distance vision screening. Please find the attached letter with further information and how to opt your child out if you wish to.
