National Tree Week

Next week is National Tree Week and to celebrate here at Cookridge pupils will be enjoying tree themed Forest School activities such as bark rubbings, tree ID games, meditating amongst the trees and creating tree inspired artwork using natural materials. As well as this, every child in school will help in the planting of 200 new trees in our school grounds. Species such as dogwood, hawthorn, beech and hazel will be planted to enrich our school grounds, provide further habitats and wildlife corridors for animals and help in the fight against climate change.
