Ocean Group – Robinwood

What a brilliant first day Ocean Group have had at Robinwood. Their afternoon began with a number of activities that tested their teamwork and problem-solving skills! First of all, after making their beds and a hearty lunch, children tackled the climbing wall where they competed with, and against, each other in a series of tasks. Next was being led around an obstacle course blindfolded in nightline. Communicating effectively and working as a team, pupils avoided the squirrels and completed the course without anyone getting lost! Before tea, children worked together to escape the dungeons here at Dobroyd Castle by completing a number of puzzles to move from one room to another. After tea, there was time to squeeze in the crate challenge where teams were challenged to create the tallest towers they could without them falling down! They have all had such a great day and never flinched from anything that’s been asked of them. Throughout the day, the children have been so supportive of one another and demonstrated excellent leadership abilities in achieving their goals.
