Reception – Forest School

We’ve had a great time at Forest School this morning in our last session before the Christmas break. Children could choose to play in our provision area where we have the ninja slackline, mud kitchen, tough tray and the ‘Cookridge Market’ or busy themselves with our challenges! Today, there were three challenge areas designed to push pupils out of their comfort zones and promote different skills. The first was in the polytunnel where pupils had to make a Christmas card using leaf printing whilst Mr Verdi took pupils to visit the animals to give them their breakfasts! The final area was in the fire pit making hot chocolate using kelly kettles with Mr Gamble. They were a lovely warm treat on a chilly day!
