Reception – Forest School

Today in our last Forest School lesson of the year, Reception pupils enjoyed a morning of partying and celebrating in our wonderful outside space. Children made dens in the trees, helped Mr Gamble water our new trees  and played games involving dinosaurs. After all that fun, every child roasted a marshmallow. Whilst doing so, they used fire gloves and were shown how to manage their risk around a fire. When it was their turn, every child followed the rules to make sure they, their friends and their teachers stayed safe around the fire. To finish the morning, we brought the goats out into the goat walking pen and took turns in walking them around the track or scooping up their droppings to ensure the track remained clean and clear. What a busy morning!
