Reception – Forest School

Reception enjoyed their first ever Forest School session today by exploring and playing in lots of the different areas we have available in the school garden. Pupils were free to explore the sandpit, mud kitchen and slackline. They could also challenge themselves with a balancing scale challenge, do some weeding in one of our growing beds or be creative using loose parts to create pictures. Children also took it in turns to visit the animals and fed the rabbits and chickens whilst also giving the guinea pigs cuddles and a morning hair brush.
