Also this week, the children were given the opportunity to complete a workshop with the illustrator of The Gruffalo, Axel Scheffler. It consisted of Axel sharing his miniature book collection and viewing some miniature treasures from the British Library. Then, the children were tasked with creating their own mini books! There were some fabulous examples produced, and we can’t wait to incorporate them into our own lessons later on in the term!
